Pierce Manufacturing Delivers to Indonesia Largest Integrated Petrochemical Complex

On 17 March 2017, Pierce Manufacturing handed over 3 units of Pierce firefighting vehicles to PT. Chandra Asri Petrochemicals (CAP) and its subsidiary, PT Styrindo Mono Indonesia (SMI). The 2 units handed over to CAP were configured with 8,127L foam, 1,996L water, 450KG dry chemical, and a 5,670 LPM 2-stage pump, built on a custom Arrow XT chassis that can accommodate 8 firefighters. The SMI fire truck has 4,536L foam, 2,268L water, a 3,780 LPM 2-stage pump, built on a custom Saber chassis that can accommodate an equal number of firefighters. All 3 trucks are covered with a 2-year preventive maintenance program to ensure they are in peak condition.

The delivery of the trucks also included operations and maintenance training for the safety and engineering departments of both CAP and SMI. As Chandra Asri has put in significant investment in their plant(s) and also supports their neighbors and surrounding community during fire emergencies, it is imperative that they choose a reliable product and trusted partner.

Pierce dealer, PT. Rejeki Utama, based in Jakarta, Indonesia, provides local service and support for CAP and SMI.
